In 2008 Sky sang in the Sydney Opera House in The Australian Singing Competition, Marianne Mathy Scholarship where she won 10 prizes including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Award - the Mathy Award Scholarship with support from the Elizabeth Sweeting Award and the Hazell Scholarship Fund, the Goethe Institute Award, The Universal Music Australia Prize, the Phoebe Patrick Award and the Nell Pascall Award. She is entering the Opera Course as a soprano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, under Kathryn Harries.
Sky has won 7 music Scholarships for voice, including a full music scholarship to Woodlands Girls School in S.A., the 2005 Christ Church Scholarship, the 2006 MBS Australian Young Performer of the Year, the 2009-2010 full scholarship the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a two year Wingate Scholarship towards her music studies 2010-2012 and a scholarship for the Opera Course from the Guildhall School for 2010-2011. Sky is also the 2008 winner of The Coffee Club Arts Award in the Channel Nine Young Achiever Awards S.A., and the 2008 winner of the Open Aria Kevin Sullivan Memorial Award at the Fremantle Eisteddfod.
Sky studied music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with Patricia Price and the Elder School of Music, Adelaide University where she received a 1st Class Honours Degree with teacher Guila Tiver. She has been dancing since age 4, studied Drama through school and has also worked for Rachel's Modeling Management while in South Australia.
Sky has been awarded several Eisteddfod prizes in W.A. and S.A. including the Junior Vocal Champion, Nancy Thomas Memorial Prize, Neville Hicks Aria Memorial Prize and the Italian Art Song Prize. Sky has also won the Clement Q Williams Lied Competition, the vocal section of the 2005 S.A. MBS Young Performers Award, and was awarded a mentorship with the Helpmann Academy to work with vocal coach, Sharolyn Kimmorley.
Sky's achievements have been recorded in the 2007 & 2008 Who's Who in South Australia and the 2007, ‘08, '09 &’10 Who's Who of Australian Women books. Sky's lead role credits include; Helena A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sevillia La Clamenza di Tito, Mikayla Carmen, La Musica Orfeo, Pamina The Magic Flute, Countess Cherubin, PhillisIolanthe Amy Metro Street and in 2008 Abigail Williams in the Australian Opera Premiere of Robert Ward and Arthur Miller's The Crucible.
